OUR TOP 5 WORKSHOPS
Elevating Women's Wellbeing in the Workplace
This keynote is designed to address the unique and persistent challenges faced by women in the workplace through the lens of wellness and community. Focusing on the power of female connection alongside the five dimensions of workplace wellness (career, financial, community, emotional, and physical), this talk puts a spotlight on the gendered factors holding women back from the C-Suite while simultaneously equipping attendees with ideas, tactics, and strategies to elevate each other at work. Spoiler alert, you can't solve the workplace challenges of child care, menstruation, menopause, inequitable pay, unpromotable tasks, emotional and cognitive labor, microaggressions, mental health, and wealth creation, alone.
Employee Mental Health: Whose Responsibility Is It Really?
Since early 2020, we have collectively moved through a global health crisis with rippling emotional, physical, and cognitive impacts that forever changed the way we work, play, lead, love, parent, and partner. By engaging in this experiential talk, individual contributors and people leaders will learn how to cultivate a team culture that increases engagement and retention by eliminating practices that derail employee mental health and enact a new toolkit of strategies to improve employee wellbeing and satisfaction in the workplace.
Communicating with Accountability: Navigating Microaggressions in the Workplace
In this talk, participants will explore the impact of microaggressions through the lens of accountability. Unfortunately, when communicating with colleagues and clients, our positive intent does not always match the impact of our words. When this happens, navigating the corrective path to repair the harm caused can feel overwhelming. By participating in this workshop, participants will be able to identify the roots of microaggressions, learn strategies to avoid causing verbal harm, and practice the act of repair following this misstep (which we’ve all made)!
Building Your Professional Brand for Workplace Success
In today's dynamic, multi-generational workforce, women confront perennial challenges while seizing unique opportunities. We grapple with power dynamics, juggle caregiving responsibilities and career aspirations, and transform perceived setbacks into growth catalysts. Simultaneously, we strive to maintain authenticity while battling the double bind, imposter syndrome, gender biases, and the isolation of being "the only one" in the room. This workshop tackles these issues head-on, empowering participants to build a genuine, yet formidable, professional identity rooted in core values.
My Favorite "F" Word: Giving & Receiving Feedback
Did you know that 2/3 of the time, feedback actually results in diminished performance? This is almost always due to the construction of the message, the delivery by the messenger, and of course, the identity of the messenger. In this session, participants will learn how to leverage the SBI (Situation-Behavior-Impact) framework to share and receive constructive, intentional feedback with their colleagues.
