Emily is the “heart and soul” of The Collective Academy, bringing her whole self to the pursuit of bringing more humanity, diversity – and thus impact – into the workplace. She believes you need to be the most you to achieve fulfillment.
Todd Connor is a former management consultant, U.S. Navy veteran, and has held many leadership roles in the public and private sector – with the belief that we can all change and redirect our lives.
Todd is the architect and ideator behind The Collective Academy programs. A successful entrepreneur, he is expert at turning ideas into action into reality. He is all about learning by doing, and pushes others to be brave and be of service.
Todd is also the CEO of Bunker Labs, a national non-for-profit organization built by military veteran entrepreneurs to empower other military veterans as leaders in innovation; and co-owner of Emerson House, a country manor retreat center in La Porte, IN (opening 2018).
Angela L. Swain is an organizational development consultant with more than 20 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Currently, she is a Research Scholar and Moderator for The Emotional Intelligence Leadership Institute in Chicago where she conducts training programs for managers to discuss team membership, meaning, and empowerment.
Angela is also pursuing a PhD in Business Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She believes that a leader's emotional intelligence directly impacts how safe employees feel to be their authentic selves in a work environment and ultimately how effective any organization can be in living out their mission, vision and values.
Kevin Agnew is a contributor to The Collective Academy programming, including our weekly group coaching offering. He believes strongly in the power of action and having new experiences as a way to open up new possibilities - for individuals and teams.
Kevin works at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, where he runs their Career Coaching program as part of the firm’s global alumni engagement strategy. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Center on Negotiation and Mediation at Northwestern Law School.
Eric Connor has "rebooted” his own career multiple times. From being a management consultant for Fortune 500 companies to writing software for cutting edge platforms, Eric has participated in a variety of work cultures and domains.
He is the owner of Recover Restore Counseling and a contributing facilitator with The Collective Academy. Eric believes in the power of community to get unstuck, aligned and on track toward your most meaningful work.
