With 2020 well underway, take stock of where you’ve been and where you want to go. While every day can be a pivot point for our lives, we know that the overwhelm of obligations prevents us from finding the space to do the deeper, soul level work to define our destiny.
Join Emily and Todd for a seasonal two-day retreat to commune, dine, laugh, design, inquire, let go of, and grab hold of all that this year will bring to you.

What is included in the price for the retreat?
Everything. You just need to get to Emerson House by car (about an hour and fifteen minutes from downtown Chicago), or by train (South Shore train where we can pick you up), and we will cover the rest.
Will I have my own private room?
Yes, and in most cases your own private bathroom as well. If you want to come with your partner (shared bed) please let us know as we are happy to extend a discount for the second person’s participation.
What is Emerson House?
Emerson House is a former bed & breakfast that Todd and his husband own and operate for boutique luxury retreats. We will have full private use of this 30 acre property for the duration of the weekend.
Who else will be attending?
We are curating this experience amongst “friends” – those that have been through prior Collective Academy experiences that we have facilitated.
What do I need to do to prepare?
Expect all the good stuff that you have previously enjoyed through leadership development experiences that we have curated, but even more. You set the agenda, in some sense – with both of us creating guardrails, inviting challenge and encouraging your fellow travelers to help you keep things simple, aspirational and authentic for your 2020 vision (and beyond).
Two weeks prior, you will receive links to an assessment, as well as links to other resources that will serve as read-aheads.
What will I leave with?
In short, enduring clarity and community.
You will leave with seven new friends, all of whom are working diligently and purposefully toward their next level of self-leadership and leadership on their teams and in their families. You’ll stay connected. You’ll get there together (maybe through another retreat later this year!)
